Drew Charter senior learns life lessons from golf

The PGA Tour Championship begins Thursday at East Lake. It's the final event for the FedEx Cup and the $10-million-dollar bonus. 

An Atlanta high school student and golf player will be the one to kick things off Thursday.

Solomon Dobbs, a senior at Drew Charter Schools, will hit the ceremonial "hope shot" at the PGA Tour Championship. 

Good Day Atlanta's Ron Gant talked with the talented teen, who said the game of golf has him well-prepared for life off the links.
